Kristen Stewart is garnering well-earned buzz for her work in Spencer. But long before the actor was making waves as Princess Diana, she was a child star. Born to parents who worked in the film industry, Stewart knew she wanted to act before she was a teenager. One of her most notable early roles was in 2005’s Zathura: A Space Adventure.

Recently, Stewart reunited with her co-star in the film, Dax Shepard, on his podcast. The two discussed their mutual love of cars — and the “warehouse” full of models she proudly owns.

The 2005 film Zathura: A Space Adventure featured Kristen Stewart as an exasperated older sister to two inquisitive boys who accidentally launch their house into space while playing a magical board game.

Although Stewart’s character was immobile for much of the film after being frozen, the actor still had a chance to get to know her co-stars, including Dax Shepard, who played a stranded astronaut, IMDb reports.

The two developed a strong rapport, and although they haven’t starred in any other movies together, Stewart recently stopped by Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, where they talked about their mutual hobby — cars — and the way that they choose to collect them.

In Stewart’s interview with Shepard, the two discussed how they got to know each other on the set of Zathura.

“What I really liked about you was you were really into cars. And you wanted a f***ing Mini Cooper,” Shepard told Stewart. “You were a little gearhead, and, of course, I f***ing loved that.”

The Twilight actor reminisced about her Mini Cooper, noting her brother ended up “totaling” it.

Shepard added, “I was so stoked for you. And now here’s some disappointment. So we’re neighbors, and I’m constantly riding around the neighborhood with my daughters on the motorcycles. And f***ing every time I drive by your house, I’m like, ‘Where’s the f***ing hot-rod, man. What happened?'”

Stewart admitted to having a minivan parked in front of her home, defending the vehicle as a “reliable homey.” She also revealed she opted to name the minivan “Beth.”

What did the ‘Spencer’ actor say about her ‘warehouse’ full of cars?

Stewart isn’t the only one in her family who loves cars. As she joked to Shepard, “This is embarrassing. Right now, there’s a warehouse in Van Nuys that is full of cars. I just keep them really nice and elsewhere … My mom’s obsessed — my whole family — my brother is a total hot-rodder.”

Shepard’s co-host jumped in to ask Stewart about her “warehouse”: “It’s like a Jay Leno situation over there?”

The Spencer actor acknowledged the comparison. “It’s not as nice as that. It’s way dirtier than that. But my family loves Oldsmobiles and Novas and stuff like that,” she said. “The douchiest thing about me is that I love Porsches. It’s the most beautiful … car I’ve ever seen.”

Stewart and Shepard also gushed about her Porsche Turbo Slantnose, an expensive model that likes to “scream,” as she put it.

Certainly, Stewart has the means to fill several warehouses full of expensive vehicles. Her high-powered career has helped her accrue a net worth of around $70 million
