For his acting on the HBO series, Harington earned a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actor – Television Series Drama in 2019, as well as two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2016 and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2019. Additionally, Harington created, produced, and starred in the BBC drama series Gunpowder; voiced Eret in How to Train Your Dragon movie series; and played Dane Whitman in the MCU film Eternals.
