Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL): Apple won a ban against some Motorola (NYSE:MMI) Android (NASDAQ:GOOG) devices in Germany, after a judge there ruled that the page turning in the photo gallery app in Motorola’s phones violated Apple’s patents, reported electronista.Gyroscopes were the top revenue generator in 2011 in the dominant consumer and mobile segment of the microelectromechanical systems, or MEMS market, thanks to record sales of Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone and iPad devices from during the final quarter of last year, IHS said. Gyroscopes will continue to reap top revenue honors in the next few years, taking in $1.1B by 2015, up from about $800M in 2011, added the firm, which identifies STMicroelectronics (NYSE:STM) as the leading producer of gyroscopes. The shares closed at $544.47, up $2.03 or 0.37% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $310.50 to $547.61.
Abbott Laboratories (NYSE:ABT): Abbott announced plans to build a nutrition manufacturing facility in Tipp City, Ohio, to produce two of the company’s fastest-growing adult brands, Ensure and Glucerna, for the North America market. Abbott will invest $270M in the facility and will employ approximately 240 people. Groundbreaking is expected in April with the plant operational in late 2013. The shares closed at $57.32, up $0.71 or 1.25% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $46.29 to $57.20.
Buckle (NYSE:BKE): Net sales for the four-week fiscal month ended February 25, 2012 increased 17.4% to $86.7M. The shares closed at $48.01, up $3.09 or 6.88% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $33.97 to $47.97.
Chipotle Mexican Grille (NYSE:CMG): A famed Wall St. Cheat Sheet favorite stock pick continues to highly perform in the restaurant sector and grow at a fast pace. The shares closed at $394.10, up $3.88 or 0.99% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $240.09 to $392.35.
